The AUT has a strategically central location for an Italian vacation, right in the heart of the peninsula: 200 km from Rome, 110 km from Florence, 180 km from Bologna, and positioned between the two largest seas of the Mediterranean. The Tyrrhenian Sea is 200 km away, reaching the Argentario, while the Adriatic Sea is just 100 km away, leading to the Romagna and Marche Riviera.
We are 2 hours by car from Pisa and the Conero, 3 hours from Padua and Gran Sasso, 4 hours from the Dolomites, Lake Garda, Genoa, and Venice. In 5 hours, you can reach Milan, Trieste, or Naples; in 6 hours, you can drive to Turin, Gargano, or Matera; and in 7 hours, you’ll be at Mont Blanc or Santa Maria di Leuca.
Just 30 minutes away, there's a small airport with domestic and European routes, while in 2 hours, you can reach the ports with ferries and ships to Sardinia, Sicily, Elba, and all the minor islands, including all major Mediterranean international destinations. But if you prefer, you can still take a canoe and paddle down the Tiber all the way to Rome.
